About the program

Cultural Exchange volunteering program is a program for National University students to help international students adapt to our University and our country. It is a fantastic way to interact with international students and share knowledge of a different language and culture.

This volunteering program gives National University students the chance to interact with their international peers in an academic and social setting. Students can share, learn and reflect on their own cultures. Teachers and other students also benefit from the opportunity to bond with someone from a different culture. Exchange students bring fresh perspectives and valuable insights, which can help  our local students learn intercultural skills.
Since international students spend a large portion of their time in the university and in the city, volunteers become a   support to help their international peers adapt to the University life, arrange guided tours around the city, and provide information about culture, food, music, costumes, leisure activities, relationships, among other aspects that imply culture.
